Hundahl Home Place, Ltd is located in the eastern Nebraska hills and Missouri River valley. The family farm was started as Hundahl Farms by Ernest Hundahl in the late 1940s. After some generational splits, Hundahl Home Place is now 2100 acres of the original farm. HHP is a family limited partnership comprised of John, Scottie, Tate, Eric, and Ian Hundahl, established in 1998.

This beautiful property is a mix of row crops, grassland, and timber. The ground holds all the wildlife Nebraska has to offer.

Deer Hunts

We offer limited, fair game parent/child hunts.  One can expect 100% opportunity. The hunts are from comfortable, heated wooden huts on raised platforms. These offer great viewing and shooting lanes designed for a successful hunt, even for the novice hunter. HHP has a small bunkhouse available for on-site lodging or other local options.

We cater to the parent/child hunts, so young hunters have high opportunities on quiet, private grounds. Just as important as the hunt is that the parent/child spend quality time together.  The hunters should expect to see many deer, turkeys, and coyotes.

Waterfowl Hunts

HHP has two distinct waterfowl lakes to hunt. One is a few miles off Hwy 75, north of Tekamah and one is north of Tekamah, a few hundred yards off the Missouri River. Both offer heated pit blinds with electricity. These lakes are situated in good flyways. The lakes are managed for hunting by Pheasant Bonanza, the Midwest’s premier upland hunting preserve and Orvis endorsed lodge. Day hunts and memberships are available for both lakes. Turkey Hunts

The rolling hills of eastern Nebraska offer tremendous turkey hunting. HHP is no exception. Once again, Pheasant Bonanza manages the booking for the turkey hunts. You will be hunting on our ground if requested and available. If not, PB has plenty of great property also. They offer guides, calls, blinds, and expertise for a great day of turkey hunting. Varmint Hunts

Grassland, timber, and open areas are prime habitats for varmint hunting at HHP. These hunts have very limited availability due to season dates and our travel season. The coyote hunts will usually be done at night with night scopes and electronic calls, provided. Daytime hunts are available too. Raccoon hunts will be done in the late afternoon or at night. Both hunts can be done at the same time.
